Constantin Georgescu
Dance and Video
 
 
  Constantin is a choreographer, dance lecturer, researcher, and video artist. Educated as a dancer in Bucharest, he has been engaged with various dance companies in Romania and Germany for over 17 years, and later worked as a freelance artist.  He holds a Master's Degree in dance pedagogy and a PhD in Applied Cultural Studies from the University of Arts, Linz. 
He choreographs his own works or collaborates with other artists, and he was invited to create for dance companies and schools in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Taiwan, South Korea, Portugal, etc.  
His choreographic work covers a broad artistic spectrum, from contemporary dance and ballet pieces to experimental formats and multimedia projects. ​
Constantin is currently a guest lecturer for the MA students of Movement Research studies at the Dance Institute of Brückner University, Linz.
